Director Aditya Datt’s Latest Offering Fails to Strike a Chord
Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal have featured in Bollywood’s new action blockbuster, “Crakk: Jeetega Toh Jiyegaa”. Nevertheless, critics’ comments reveal that the film is satisfactory due to the slow storytelling pace.
Mindless Action, Missing Substance
“Crakk” endeavors to incorporate adventure sports into its action-filled plot. Regrettably, there is little substance and the movie feels like there are no interesting stories in it.
Aditya Datt, the director has tried hard to put together different pieces in a bid to make it a highly impacting film but at the end of it all he has failed as well. Regardless of having some thrilling action scenes which are mainly enhanced by visual effects; they don’t reflect on what the movie is trying to say.
Mixed Performances and Editing Woes
Vidyut Jammwal may stand out for his daredevil stunts but he lacks emotional depth. Arjun Rampal plays the antagonist role very well, however, others like Amy Jackson and Nora Fatehi appear to be thrown into their roles.
Moreover, the film’s editing is disappointing with incongruities that detract from the viewing experience.
Final Thoughts
“Crakk” might captivate action flick enthusiasts and thrill seekers but doesn’t manage a mesmerizing storyline. Vidyut Jammwal’s action sequences entertain, yet the movie mainly emphasizes style over substance.
While “Crakk” has loopholes, it can still attract an audience seeking thrill but is not likely to leave a lasting impression or create a new generation of adrenaline junkies in the extreme sports arena.
